ok its been AGES since i last posted but i have been manic! dissertation due in and dance show all in a week so im gonna have to backtrack a bit....
8th december - clothes show live. magic
there was so much in it that inspired me.. called a winter wonderland it couldnt have been more perfect to what im loving about the time of year at the moment. it mixed dance and fashion so it suited me down to a t and was simply beautiful. i wanted to be up there myself!!
the costumes were gorgeous and totally appropriate and on trend. little attributes gave sedge and i ideas for our own catwalk show such as the red glittery lipstick. this was eyecatching, glamourous and quirky at the same time. maybe we could use a range of different colours to make it more appropriate to each outfit..?
we are definately adopting the idea for fancy dress at christmas :)
i also absolutely loved the nutracker-esque section of the show. it epitomised christmas viewing. each model dressed as a toy and choreography was based around this mechanic idea. it was surreal and i loved it.
bring on next year.
