The Princess and the Frog

The new disney film The Princess and the frog came out this week and true to form ive already been to see it. it was incedible and reminded me of everything i love about disney and fairytale worlds. the creativity and imagination behind it creates beutiful imagery and put me straigt back into the frame of mind of our fashion show. im such a geek that i kinda wish id taken a note book... ha. there were a couple of features that i think would be perfecly appropriate for sedge and sarah's wonderland. for example i love the idea of projecting shadows on the walls of the runway when the more evil characters walk, creating an auror of mystery. i think these parts of the show should be a bit more creepy and create an atmosphere if possible.
i also loved the use of the coloured bottles in the tarot readers treehouse. having them hanging from the ceiling would be amazing and add a real feeling of specific decoration for the night. it would also make a link between the drinks product and the idea of magic and fantasy and i think it was a partiuclarly meorable asoect to the film itself because it was so different - and not too hard to imitate!
the fireflys in the woods looked a lot like white fairy lghts and again this is like the fairyligts in coco tang... we could play on the idea that the bar is putting its own twist to this decoration idea with their pink fairylights! magic x
