My absolute passion for tehe city of New York only acts as encouragement for my new found admiration of fashion designer Holly Fulton. Having only recently come across her work I have to say am wowed..and now most certainly yearning for a trip to the Big Apple once again.
Ex Lanvin jewellery designer and new designer on the scene has taken inspiration from the New York architechture for her new collection pieces. the striking incorporation of an art-deco theme. Silhouettes are simple yet sharp, with robotic influences inspired by the suave sophistication of Robert Palmer’s women in the cult video Addicted to Love, Im defiantely feeling an 80s vibe!

Fulton debuted in Febuary 2009 as an independant desingner and is the winner of Young Designer of the Year Awards at the Scottish Fashion Awards.
I think Ive found a new guilty pleasure in her work!
