Through the Looking Glass - Tim Burton and his genius trippy world

Shocker, sedge and i booked our tickets for the opening of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland at the cinema and at the risk of sounding predictable it was UNREAL. im pretty sure I sat with my 3D glasses on and a massive geeky smile on my face for the entire 2 hours.
The styling wihtin the film was quite literally a dream. alice herself changed about 7 times throughout based upon her height and location. for example at the mad hatters (johnny depp) tea party he fashions her a dress that represents his personality slightly more so than the following design that alice is provided with upon being deemed the evil Queen of Hearts; 'new favorite'.
The madhhatter himself has an amazing eclectic collaboration of shapes, colours and fabrics within his attire, a tru representation of his diminished importance within society since the downfall of the white queen. every character has a look that communicates to the viewer something more about their personality. i love this

for te first time started thinking about stylinfor films as a career..how amazing would that be!? and probably totally different to styingfor photography; perhaps more like the stylingof the fashion show and an event that involves interction!

Tim Burton - you have opened a whole new wonderland of a world of opportunity that i for one certanily want to be a part of!
