Photographer Michael Donovan collaborates art and fashion - DREAMY - for Vision magazine, a Chinese publication that Im yet to explore and now definitely will be! The shoot features the gorgeous Jana Wirth who plays the part beautifully. The styling is what inspires me the most however, along with the art direction, as the images tell a story and follow the model from home to the market, giving a feeling of being there and experiencing her bohemian lifestyle and eclectic taste in art and fashion. Featured designers include Candela, Malene Birger and others and the feeling is relaxed, floaty, summer and carefree. The editorial gives me the impression of a character who cares greatly about her art work and is so totally absorbed that she needs no other muse. A theme and a reason for a shoot is what I love the most about editorials.
