Spring 2011 Trends: PUNK IS BACK...AGAIN
Punk is something that will clearly NEVER be over done. Im sure season after season it comes around in a multitude of different ways, shapes, tears and a slight twist and alteration to last time. Not something Ill be embracing on a personal level but these designers all had the same idea when drafting their collections clearly! With Punk Im a strong believer that less is more. WhilstJean Paul Gaulthier may be able to pull it off down the runway, Its perhaps a trend to team with another if you're running daily errands. Burberry Porsum for example shows a punked up jacked with a heavily printed dress (another of the seasons popular trends) To me - thats more effortlessly cool than wearing the trend in an uber obvious fashion..but each to their own! im sure the highstreet will have some inspired pieces out in no time.
