The 11am Alex Perry show in the Cargo theatre was the first show that I attended of the Rosemount Australian Fashion Week..and its definitely one thats been talked about a lot since too! Bold, bright colours and stand-out hues. When I think back to the show I remember TURQUOISE and I remember SEQUINS, as well as the first of many slick, straight ponytails. This was certainly a trend used over many of the collections this season.
The collection here was certainly vast, and the gowns intricate, although I have to say I wasn't a massive fan. Don't get me wrong this show definitely made an impact, and despite being at the beginning of the week is one that I can still remember well now. He certainly knows his target market and what they want - and delivers season after season, complimenting the somewhat eccentric makeup and colours with a parade around the catwalk himself. Fashion-fabulous.
