Karla Spetic showcased in the Cargo theatre on Monday. This location provided designers with a bit more creative liscence than the OPT. Whilst the OPT was the main showroom, this one was a larger, more open space with the option of designing the seating and runway in any possible way. Karla Spetic kept it simple, but perhaps this was due to her exciting prints and vinbrant designs. I agree that the clothing said it all. The media went mad for it, as did the front row. Tailoring was scructured yet soft and colour combinations daring. Prints were blatant and cutout shapes made a statement in the fabrics.
Not conforming to any of the hippie-esquq trends that graced the catalks many times, this collection was brave with a captial B.
