This year for the first time, RAFW has launched a social networking program whereby they launch an image taken on the runway, publish it on facebook and wait for the general public to LIKE the image. Buyers can then generate an idea of how successful a garment or collection is likely to be. Genius.
On other social networking news, the live Twitter wall was present in the foyer of the OPT and presented any tweets featuring #RAFW...which was obviously a LOT. This was great to pass the time for people queuing; tweeting or browsing the reports and thoughts of fellow twitter users at the event.
As you can imagine..I was loving it.
