The phenomenon of fast fashion collaborations has been in the forefront of fashion news and media for the past few years. However successful this has proven to be, high end designers are still expereincing increasing profits from their expensive collections. The new trend however, aims to reach reach an increasing number of consumers and will appear more and more in the fashion world this year. The crafting of luxury clothing for children is set to be big this coming year as the likes of Lanvin and Paul Smith are cementing high-end design loyalty from an early age.
Recently Lanvin teamed up with H&M last Fall to launch a wildly successful collection. The success of this seems to have inspired Alber Elbaz, the Israeli designer who’s been at the helm of house of Lanvin since 2001, to try his hand at scaling down some of his signature looks for the younger market! The Lanvin Petite collection for girls is on the market with tulles and ruffles, much like we see in the womenswear section, and prices aren't too disimilar either! Fendi too have launched a collection and the 'Back to School' months of the year are sure to see yet more designer collections get involved in the money-making scheme.
Marni and Milly have collections planned to launch in the Autumn and Paul Smith has introdiced eye-popping colors, bold stripes and bright florals that are available right now from the UK designer’s e-commerce site.
