Ms. Couture was one of the shows I was most looking forward to seeing after having a cheeky sneak backstage and spying the pastel colours and delicate fabrics that were to be showcased in the Cargo theatre on Friday morning. The Swan Lake music used was probably my favorite from the week but perhaps it stuck in my head as it had been used a few days previously!? It was hughly appropriate for this catwalk though and it complimented the collection perfectly. The hair was braided, a trend I have reported for a number of shows and was up and away from the clothing meaning the focus was entirely on the designs. Fringing was common once again and this surprised me considering the nature of the designer and the fact that it is underwear. The whole show was a little Victorias Secret which I really liked!
The style was babydoll, the corsetry unusual and a modern take to the classic balconette look and there was a little flash of glitter for a subtle sparkle! Colours ranged throughout the pastel spectrum and the finale was a rainbow of pale, cutesy tones.
My backstage shots that got me all excited!
