#RAFW Day 4 : Limedrop

Limedrop was again, another surprising show, although I needed bringing back down to the real world after the kitsch Kooey display that I had seen previously. This show was lovely. The first men that I had seen graced the runway..and they were identical twins! The tailoring was soft and the colour palettes matched this aside from flashes of bright turquoise and orange and a lot of black - a trend I noted a lot throughout the week. Cut outs were also present once again. The collection was called Calypso and had models wearing sunglasses on the runway - a very relaxed and summery vibe to a lot of the designs! Some of the pieces were very 'dandy' and the boys came out in denim shorts, the girls in a multitude of cottons. There was a lot of different designs, shapes colours and fabrics which was a bit hard to keep up with - but very appropriate for retail!
Would I wear any of it..no probably not, but the mood was carefree and the finale a perfect media shot. One girl flagged with the identical twin male models, holding a cat that looked like a mini tiger..random but effective!
