Im going to introduce a new feature to my blog called the Sociability Review. Despite the fact that myself and my friends spend our weekends trying out new suggested hotspots, nightlife, resturants, cafes and bars / clubs (currently in Sydney, previously in London) I never really think about them as venues but much more as a 'living for the moment' quick fix of fun. Realistically to make an event a sucess there are a whole host of contributing factors and in order to open my eyes to these and keep my head in the game I want to review some of my faves. Well if TimeOut can do it why can't I..?

So first up is The World Bar in Kings Cross, Sydney. Located at 24 Bayswater Rd Kings Cross 2011 this quirky bohemian bar lived up to my expectations. I confess the only thing I had heared about the place was the fact that drinks were sold in teapots but this was enough to convince me that The World Bar had to be on my hitlist. Home to eclectic bands and DJs. 'The Wall' Wednesday nights host free art and comedy.
The layout itself is cool with an outside street terrace for smokers and high sociability factors. Obviously an attraction to passers by as the night we first went people were almost overflowing onto the street.
The venue reminded me of Rescue Rooms in Nottingham in the sense that you could very easily loose yourself in the multi-story building - each room slightly different to the last but equally as dingy and intriguing.
