Chic Petite Presents..the lauch party was a week ago today. I took the afernoon off Fashion Identity to go and work with Sharon and the team preparing for the catwalk show and the introduction of the four day fashion festival that we had been working on. Backstage was as hectic as had been expected but the feedback from the audience was phenomenal and the hard work that had been put in to creating something that both showcased new Australian and international talent and set the standard to a creative and inspiring few days was evident.
Located in Queen Street Studios, the venue set the scene of an aty and individual, urban selection of talent. The open warehouse space was filled with about 250 guests - both industry insiders and the general public. The show itself presented collections by Ama ; a swimwear designer, Zero Noir ; from Hong Kong, Dead Possom ; from Brisbane, 2Shae whos launch in Paddington boutique I attended last month, Villoni ; a ball gown designer located in Sydney and Clover Love who also contributed to the artwork exhibited in the second room of the space.
Here are some of my backstage pics from the night.
