Piano Room in Kings Cross, Sydney has fast become one of mine and my friends favorite haunts. Live music, a good crowd and a guaranteed highly sociable night on a Friday or Saturday we most recently celebrated a birthday at the bar / nightclub before moving on to The Kings Cross Hotel just across the road.
The interior is different to most and as the images show, somewhat more exteavegant. The view from the balcony is along the length of William Street and therefore acts as the perfect people watching spot for smokers. Large animal statues of cheetahs and a horse in the entrance complete the decor along with comfy chairs low lighting.
True to the name the live music stage is home to a large piano and the cocktail menu is lengthy and impressive. The perfect way to let loose at the weekend and start the night as you mean to continue, young professionals are aplenty, enjoying the quality drinks menu and dancing to the selected live band. Entry ranges from free (before 10pm) to $20 on a busy Saturday night.
