Hows this for a facelift?
I know Im way behind with this one and the images were released in August, but it was about time I paid tribute to my ultimate fashion photographer, Tim Walker. And what better way to do it than with the huge re-branding that went hand-in-hand with shooting the new Jo Malone fragrance campaign?!
If you'd told me before that the creative, imaginative and somewhat boundary-pushing photographer was to produce imagery that would communicate with the more conservative, classic and refined Jo Malone consumer and market, I would have been skeptical to say the least. However the advertising hits the nail on the head. Not his most 'out there' work but retaining the developed photographic and styling style the images have a subtle playful imagination to them whilst presenting the theme and name of the product effectively and in a matter of fact way.
This man can do no wrong and massive credit to the Jo Malone marketing team for taking the risk! A beautiful set of photographs.
