Jubilee Celebrations at the Royal Academy of the Arts

The Diamond Jubilee seems to be taking this country country completely by storm. Bunting has adorned the majority of Ascot and Sunninghill and London is draped in Union Jack flags up and down the streets. On Friday night, the Royal Academy of Arts in London hosted 'A Celebration of the Arts' to continue the early celebrations. Guests included famous British designers who arrived to meet the Queen. They paired up with their model muses dressed as a ‘living example’ of their work. Genius theme. Henry Holland arrived with Agyness Deyn, Vivienne Westwood dressed Lily Cole in a corseted ballgown, Christopher Kane attended with Caroline Sieber and Giles Deacon bizarrely dressed his guest by covering her face with a swan. There were some beautiful designs to be seen and other guests included Matthew Williamson, AManda Wakely and Tracey Emmin. But I have to say, the Queen herself was photographed t be looking exceptionally fabulous in a silvery, embellished skirt suit. The new icon of the year perhaps..? Below are some images uploaded on Grazia Daily.
