I know what you're thinking - of all runway shows featured at LFW this season, what makes Jean-Pierre Braganza the one that I have chosen to write about above all? I have four words for you...
COLOUR.PALLET.AND.ACCESSORIES.
To me, a collection that flows and pieces that resemble one another without mimicing and recycling designs create a strong show and it is my opinion that the title image of this post is the most iconic of the designs. I think this is due to its straight-forward wearability. Fresh and light with a geometric twist this oversized t-shirt dress is right up my street. Highlights of light turquoise throughout the collection complements an otherwise neutral colour pallet. Fragmented flashes of bright orange also make an appearance intermittently as the show continued, adding intrigue in a subtle yet eye-catching way.
Lastly, I cannot fail to mention the statement necklaces dotted within the selected imagery. Accessorizing with perfect relevance this is the icing on top of a delicious cake for me. Jean-Pierre Braganza has hit the nail on the head and I hope to see this trend littering the high street in SS13.
