"The creation of fictive worlds and parallel lives is the stuff of fashion photography. Walker sees the world through a childs eyes, one honed to the singularly beautiful, the other primed for the monster under the bed. Of course its not real life for many of his recognisable figures: being trapped by clockwork or in the second dimension or in the backs of armchairs."
