Tim Walker has done it yet again.. this mystical porcelaine world of dusty chalk covered props creates a theatrical and distant impression on the viewer. The tights worn by the model are reminicent of those that we will use in our fashion show by designers Pretty Polly. The images relate to my previous post as they too create a doll-like presentation of fashion - something that i cannot stop noticing all over publication s and the fashion industry at the moment. Perhaps it has been influenced by my fairytales and wonderlands project but its certainly making research easier.. the problem's going to be cutting it down to choose the best and most appropriate stuff!
these images in particular remind me of our own advert (coming out in 69 magazine tommorrow!) as china cups have been used and the delicate patterns are similar to the designs on the Coco Tang madhatters teacups.
