I cant believe Ive only just come across these insanely fantastic images of renownd redhead Lily Cole. The surreal mood of this 2005 photoshoot is set off by milky white surroundings that look like a futuristic mix of Alice in Wonderland and One Thousand and One Nights. The two that I think are the strongest are shown above.
Norwegian fashion photographer Sølve Sundsbø hsa really captured something magical and it has give e yet more inspiration for our own shoot in the House of Coco Tang. I love the way that the stylist has made Cole look even more doll-like than she naturally does and there is something slightly spooky about the images.. she almost looks lifeless. i think that they work beautifully as a collection and it would be a dream to create something like this myself..give me time.
