Ok so even though I blogged this right at the beginning of the month at FI, Im still excited and going to post it again anyway...Vogue UK has dedicated its entire May issue to all-things wedding! The May issue of Vogue provides, as Alexandra Shulman puts it in her editor's letter, a "delicious confection of all things matrimonial" - as a response to Prince William and Kate Middleton tying the knot.
The issue is the first in the 95 year history to have 3 different covers. They feature Freja Beha Erichsen, Lara Stone and Natalia Vodianova in wedding dresses, all photographed by Mario Testino. Freja is my fave..although Im not entirely sure how I feel about the choice of cover models, I guess when I see the rest it will all come together but these 3 - whilst gorgeous - don't exactly scream BRIDE to me..?
Inside the issue, weddings are explored: from the amusing Always The Bridesmaid, by Vogue's Rosie Vogel; to the practical With This Ring, which examines the new-versus-heirloom engagement ring quandary; to the historical Royal Weddings In Vogue.
