Carl Kapp: Tuesday #RAFW

The entire spectrum of the rainbow filled the runway at the Carl Kapp show in the OPT this year. My favorite piece of music used of the week..the Swan Lake remix that accompanied the models down the catwalk.
His first official RAFW show, the collection was named ‘Falling Water’ and consisted of evening gowns inspired by the ballet slipper.
Another feature that I particularly liked about this show was the fast paced, upbeat tempo that the models came onto the runway. There were approximately 4 models at a time parading in the range of gowns, be it floor length or cocktail, each only wearing one dress due to the pace at which they were turning around looks. It wasnt until the finale when all 24 models were on the runway at once that I realised what a huge number of them the designer had employed. It certainly made an impact! Consistent..most certainly! This image below that I came across online sums it up perfectly.
