This was probably the most 70s inspired collection that I was in attendance of over the week. And it didnt hide the fact whatsoever. Overt use of fringing and geometric patterns were complimented by long, centre parted hair and natural, carefree makeup. This collection must have aimed to bring out the inner hippy in any buyer in the audience as it created a statement with a few key look pieces.
However, the delicately printed blue blazers and palazzo pants and floaty silk dresses in electric blue have commercial appeal and I think we will be seeing alot of this style imitated on the highstreet over the Australian SS 11!
