Art Gallery of NSW

The other week I was feeling cultural and took myself off to the Art Gallery of NSW in the Domain. I had been wanting to go since I went with work to the WGSN talk a few weeks previously. The building itself is beautfl and an architectural work of art in itself and its located in a gorgeous part of the city.
A day alone with my thoughts and time to remember how much I love the arts. I just happened to choose a good weekend too as the gallery was hosting an events weekend packed full of speakers, musicians and performances inside the building. Unfortunately I turned up on Sunday afternoon and missed any of th lecturers that I would have wanted to see but it was a great atmosphere all the same and I did happen to arrive just in time for a live street dance performance by the winners of last years Australia's got talent. They were wicked and put me in a good and happy mood ready for my wander round the gallery.

 Gorgeous spacious building
Beautiful marble sculptures representing old Australian art.

Modern Art Sculptures

Technological artwork
 Light affected artwork

Crazy aboriginal sculptures
 Interactive digital installations
 Photographic representations
Abstract and tangible 3D artwork
The way that this was painted by artist an Burns was stunning, my picture doesnt do it justice.
