As cliche as it now seems going out in Darling Harbour, Cargo Bar will always remain one of my favorite places to go in Sydney. Right from my first month here when the Christmas Eve boat party met for a pre-drink at this famous location I have had repeated brilliant nights that originate, and sometimes conclude, in Cargo. Whether it be for an afternoon pitcher of cocktails in the sun with the girls, a $5 pizza on a thursday night or the start to a raging night on the tiles I have never been disappointed.
Overlooking Darling Harbour this was the perfect location for the weekly Summer fireworks in December and the courtyard setting as well as upstairs balcony area means that the night can be as relaxed or as wild as you wish. Friends of mine have celebrated leaving do's here to get everyone together in the place that they associate with good fun nights in this city. Im looking forward to the wamer weather returning so that wecan frequent this place more often once more!
