The Ivy is one of the first places that I went out when I arrived in Sydney. A prestigious and what some may call pretentious location on George Street the bar is famous for being one of the hot spots in Sydney. Home to raging Friday and Saturday nights as well as more casual after-work drinks and Sunday sessions, the overall feel of the bar/club is of a private party in a grand home...just expect to see Serena Van Der Woodsen and Nate Archibold canoodling in the corner! The interior design includes gardens, a rooftop pool, terraces, lounge and dining rooms. I have had some fantastic nights at the Ivy and it s certainly the place to go with a group of girls. Men in suits and money to burn are aplenty at the rooftop pool bar!
Owner of the business, Hemmes says he wants his customers to enter a fantasy world - and the Ivy is certainly that. A magical and beautiful place.
