Singapore

After Bali we spent 2 nights in Singapore and I deemed it one of my favorite cities in the world. I didn't really know what to expect as I hadn't heared much about the city or done any research into what I wanted to spend time doing before we left. However I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and would love to return for a longer amount of time at some point for the chance to explore properly ... and experience the shopping in all its glory.

The first thing that I noticed was the cleanliness and immaculate state of the city. Not being allowed to drink or eat at the train station is just an example of the strict rules that are implemented in order to maintain these standards. The shopping was also fantastic and the buildings fascinating. We took an open top tour bus to see as much as we could in as little time as possible and I felt a little taster of what a trip there and the lifestyle would be like in Singapore. It was also the weekend of the Grand Prix whilst we were there and we saw some training which was rather exciting!
